Ricky & Chelsea's service was Great. We had the SW Salad and What a Delight. Our food came out Hot and Fresh. Chelsea was very sweet and Prompt. The Resturant was very clean and Tidy. We also ordered a slice of Strawberry Pie and I was so delicious.
Well this was a pleasant SURPRISE!! 5 STAR well deserved. We haven’t been to a Perkins for over a year and thought we would revisit to see if there had been any changes to the food and service… Well, YES!! From the moment we walked in we were greeted and promptly seated and had a great breakfast. Our waitress was friendly and delivered our food correctly and quickly. The gentleman that seated us (Ricky) is now the NEW MANAGER!! This is what good management can do… motivate staff, have a very clean restaurant, delicious and HOT food, and friendly staff! We will definitely be back and look forward to the delicious muffins and 20% off our next visit!!

The restaurant was clean and we were greeted at the door with a welcoming smile from Ricky. He sat us and got us something to drink right away. My steak was awesome and cooked just as I asked and the waiter made sure we were well taken care of. That was my first time going and I must say the best restaurant in Dubuque!!!!
I recently visited Perkins and had an absolutely wonderful experience! Our server, Margret, was exceptional—she was friendly, attentive, and ensured our table was well taken care of throughout our meal. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really stood out and made our visit so enjoyable. The manager, Ricky, also went above and beyond. He stopped by our table to check on us, which added a personal touch to the service. It’s clear he cares deeply about the customer experience and runs a fantastic team. The food was delicious and came out quickly, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this Perkins location, and I’ll definitely be back again soon. Well cooked appetizer, perfectly cooked shrimp and fish, unclumped rice, steamy pot roast, perfectly thick gravy, warm tasty green beans and warm potatoes. Focused and compassionate waitress, probably because she was having a great shift and knew she did and performed her task as well as she could. Kitchen was quiet and peaceful and sounded like they were having a great time making, preparing and cooking our food.The acting manager was so kind. We told her that we would love to buy a gift card, cuz we knew that we are going to come back. You could pay us to step foot in your establishment again, Even though we would perfectly come in for free! Five stars!!!
Today's experience was awesome!! Ricky, thank you for your outstanding service, attention to detail and setting thongs right for me. The last time we came in, was not good, so much so that I never even finished my food. I was very reluctant about stopping in this morning, bit so pleased my babe convinced to have breakfast. From the moment we walked in, you acknowledged us, greeted us warmly and set us up at out booth with a great smile! You decoded you would personally take care of us AND you were absolutely a delight!! I look forward to coming again and being greeted by your smile!! They are always short on waitresses but the one they had tonight was amazing. She was so busy but so friendly. I want to say wonderful job. She is definitely a keeper. The hostess was great,too. A big a THANK YOU.
